tournament is held on the Cochise course. Members at Desert
Mountain are treated as special guests during the week's
festivities. An interesting and eye-opening finale to the
tournament is the day after the tournament when the members play the
course from the tees just as the professionals played it.
Three excellent practice facilities are
available along with an outstanding staff of teaching professionals
available for private lessons and clinics.
The nine tennis courts and tennis program
bring players of all levels. Camps for children and grandchildren
are available along with team play and inter-club competition.
 The choice of homesites are many
including luxury cottages, semi-custom and custom homes. Homes
range in price from $700,000 to $5 million. The Valleys top
builders have chosen to build in Desert Mountain. You can become a
member by merely purchasing a lot. There is no time frame in which
you must build. Custom homes sites range for one-third acre to
over two acres. Natural open space and desert landscaping are
requirements sensitive to maintaining the current desert environment.
Those who choose to build a custom home have the support of Desert
Mountain's Building Assistance Program. Assistance includes help
with hints on how to effectively monitor timelines and budgets.
