Upon close of escrow, the new homesite buyer at Desert Mountain has the opportunity to begin to enjoy membership in The Desert Mountain Club, which includes four 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, with a fifth course under construction, as well as impressive tennis, swim, and fitness facilities.

From the moment you begin evaluating homesites until you're ready to move in to your custom home, our Building Assistance Program is there to support you every step of the way.

Our Custom Home Building Assistance Coordinator will be a valuable information source for you during the pre-purchase process. Our Coordinator will refer you to qualified architects, builders and construction managers and will give you helpful hints on how you can effectively monitor timelines and budgets so that your project moves forward on schedule and on budget. Working with your Sales Executive, our Coordinator lends assistance in finding the right homesite for you; helping with ideas; understanding design guidelines; introducing you to designers, architects, and builders; and moving through the design review process.

Custom Homesite Financing Program

Outlined below are the basic provisions of Desert Mountain's in-house custom homesite financing programs. Desert Mountain's Sales Executives can provide further details.

20% DOWN PAYMENT, 80% NOTE PAYABLE AS FOLLOWS:
10-year principal and interest amortization
Monthly payments
Interest floats at 1.0% over the prime interest rate, adjusted annually
No prepayment penalties
Origination fee of 1/2 of 1.0% of the loan amount payable by buyer at close of escrow
Secured by unsubordinated deed of trust
Non-assumable (due on sale)
Standard Fannie-Mae residential loan application and credit report required

25% DOWN PAYMENT, 75% NOTE PAYABLE AS FOLLOWS:
20-year principal and interest amortization with 7-year "balloon"
Monthly payments
Interest floats at 1.0% over the prime interest rate, adjusted annually
No prepayment penalties
Origination fee of 1/2 of 1.0% of the loan amount payable by buyer at close of escrow
Secured by unsubordinated deed of trust
Non-assumable (due on sale)
Standard Fannie-Mae residential loan application and credit report required
